4. Pamukkale Hot Springs, Turkey

After doing a project on Turkish culture for my international business class in high school, I discovered the beautiful Pamukkale Hot Springs in Turkey. These natural springs, also known as the "cotton castle" are famous for the unique way they formed, due to the flowing water. One of the awesome things I would love to do in the near future is visit this site and swim in one of the hot springs that cascade over the mountain.

The Pamukkale were formed when a high concentration of calcium bicarbonate flowed over the edge of a cliff and then hardened creating solid calcium deposits. Not only are the waters warm and perfect for relaxing in, they are also said to have healing qualities. I think this would make a great vacation, not only do these hot springs look enchanting but visiting Turkey would also be a great cultural experience!

This natural wonder attracts tourists from all over the world
