8. See the Northern Lights

This natural light show is something I'd love to view, and hopefully soon. Apparently the auroral activities peaks every 11 years, with the next time being 2013! So hopefully, an awesome thing I can do fairly soon in  is view the Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern lights.
After some research, I've the discovered the best place to view this natural phenomena are the Northwestern part of Canada; particularly Nunavut, Yukon and Northwest Territories. After learning the science between these lights in several of my school classes, it would be nice to actually view the Northern Lights up close and in person.

7. Crystal Ice Cave: Skaftafell, Iceland

As a person who loves exploring, the renowned Crystal Ice Cave in Iceland are a perfect destination! Almost all the air has been pressed out this glacier turning the ice into a beautiful blue shade, much resembling crystal. One awesome thing I would love to do  in the near future is visit the caves and explore them.

6. Snorkeling in the Caribbean

When I was younger, my family would often vacation in the Caribbean. Travelling there and visiting the beach, family, and eating tropical foods was definitely a high light of my childhood. However, an awesome thing I'd love to do in the near future would be to return to a tropical island and go snorkeling. Whether you are visiting Jamaica, the Bahamas or Dominican Republic, the Caribbean is renowned for it's amazing climate and beautiful beaches. I would love to visit one of these small island and witness the aquatic life and coral reefs by snorkeling with a group of friends or family.

5. Visit Japan!!

From when I was young and watched anime, I have always wanted to visit Japan. As I grew up and started enjoying other aspects of the culture (i.e. music, food), my desire to go to Japan increased even more. One of the awesome things I want to do in the near future (hopefully after I graduate) is visit Japan and immerse myself in the various cultural and social aspects this country has to offer.
A beautiful view of Mt. Fuji
When I visit Japan, I would definitely start my vacation in the nation capital of Tokyo! After this I would move to other cities, most notably Osaka, Kyoto and Hokkaido. There are several sites and activities I would love to experience including eating a traditional Japanese meal, dressing up in kimonos, viewing the capsule hotels, maid cafes and hot springs. Though, the most prominent thing on my to do list would be to eat....eat A LOT. I absolutely love sushi, and being in Japan where I have access to authentic Japanese food, would be amazing. On this trip there's no doubt I'd come back at least 10lbs heavier then when I left, but it would be worth t to partake in 'real' sushi, mochi, pork buns, bubble tea....the list goes on!

mmmmm, sushi!!
Taro bubble tea is my favourite <3 (the purple one!)
